Hello World,
Like a father who ran to the gas station for smokes, I've been absent longer than anticipated. And, like a father who ran to the gas station for smokes, I'm back asking you to forgive me.
I can make this analogy because my father didn't even do the gas station part.
I didn't plan to stop writing this newsletter. And life hasn't been that busy. But I wanted to start again when I had a better sense of what I wanted from this project and what it was doing for me.
I also felt some urgency to do something, seeing new subscribers coming through with cobwebs all over the last issue. Hello, new subscribers! Why are you here?
It's easy to joke about being extremely online, but I kept battling the insatiable urge to consume content and share it, curating my favorite random stuff and the urge, or need, rather, to stop doing that very thing.
I'm not entirely sure what to do with Open Tabs. What I do want to do is make it a bit more personal.
