#OpenTabs v0.71: A Lost Onion
...sharing space, Montero, the influencer industry, and a gif(t) exchange!
Hello, Netscape Navigators!
You know how there seems to be a “day” every “day”?
I’m not being facetious. I mean, is every day either a real holiday, an awareness day, or a social media holiday? Some of these are more significant than others, like Mean Girls Day. Others are… random?
Sure, National Coffee Day or Cookie Day is a good excuse for brands to be relatable on Instagram. But who decides these things? Does one person tweet it, and then it’s canon because a dozen blogs started picking it up?
I bring this up because April 5th is, for some reason, many things. Today, we celebrate Walking, Caramel, First Contact, Deep Dish Pizza, Reading a Road Map, Hospital Admitting Clerks, Going for Broke, and a day of Hope for the nonprofit Childhelp.
Which are you celebrating?
Anyway, here’s this week’s Open Tabs!
