Hi, Browsers!
I’m sick of conservatives.
I’m exhausted by the fact that we’re circling back on arguments we had in Facebook comment sections in 2005.
I’m devastated that LGBTQ+ advancements are subject to the whims of politicians riling up a voter base because they have no belief system or purpose other than to hate others.
I’m sick of basic human rights being boiled down to terminology that the worst people in this country just found out about yesterday.
Me when there’s a Metaverse in which you can block conservatives:
This week starts with something I have been working hard on.
Then, we get into the FBI’s database of internet speak, the best Idol audition ever, iPhone predictions of the past, and 90s girl group memes.
Happy 4/20 if you’re into that kind of thing.

I made this.
After completing the Google UX Design certification, I wanted to challenge my skills and learn some new things along the way... so I designed a Duolingo port for the Nintendo Switch. I have a long way to go and so much to learn, but I had fun with this and it was an exciting, albeit atypical, approach to a UX case study.
This was the #1 post on the Duolingo subreddit yesterday gaining 1k views per hour and tons of positive comments. 🥹
Platinum Ticket: Kenedi Anderson's Lady GaGa Cover Deserves APPLAUSE - American Idol 2022
This is truly insane. Possibly the best audition Idol has seen in 20 seasons? This song choice, the rendition, the technique…
“Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it…” — The Lady Gaga
The Epidemic of iPhone Predictions w/ Jarvis Johnson
Some of these concepts are so well done it is amazing that the ideas are so wrong but the execution is so right. It is genuinely hilarious, in retrospect but also in the year 2022, to think that most of these things would happen on any mobile phone.
The FBI's 83-page guide to internet slang is an absolute rollercoaster
What’s your favorite from this list? Also, what did they think this would accomplish? No free college or housing for our least fortunate, we’re funding research to produce 83-page guides to internet slang that nobody uses.
